Chronicle Brings Verified Oracle Data to Tempo's Ecosystem
/ 3 min read
Chronicle is now an oracle partner for Tempo, providing verified price data for a collection of assets starting with pathUSD. With Chronicle feeds in place, pathUSD is ready to be supported across Morpho Markets, making it available to risk curators such as Gauntlet and Sentora to list in their vaults.
Chronicle oracle feeds serve as the verified data layer underpinning those markets. The full list of feeds is visible on the Chronicle Dashboard.
Introducing Tempo
Tempo is a payments-first layer 1 blockchain built for stablecoins at scale, incubated by Paradigm and Stripe and developed in partnership with leading fintechs and Fortune 500 companies. It’s designed to handle high-throughput, low-cost global transactions, from remittances and payroll to embedded finance and agentic commerce. Tempo launched mainnet in March 2026 and has since attracted a growing ecosystem of enterprise partners.
Chronicle as Oracle Infrastructure for Tempo
Chronicle serves as an oracle partner on Tempo, responsible for a collection of verified price data feeds that the Tempo ecosystem relies on. For many assets that bridge the payments world and onchain markets, the oracle layer is effectively the trust layer that determines whether risk managers, protocols, and liquidity providers can operate with confidence. Tempo's decision to work with Chronicle reflects a deliberate choice for infrastructure with a proven track record and with the right approach to data provision. Chronicle is the longest-running oracle on Ethereum, with over eight years of uptime supporting both onchain-native and institutional assets. Moreover, Chronicle upgrades the current standard for data infrastructure with Proof of Asset, which introduces continuous verification and makes the underlying assets legible in terms of what’s held, where it’s held, and whether it matches what is being represented. This is critical for institutional and fintech use cases building on Tempo.
”At Tempo, we're seeing growing demand from enterprises looking to integrate DeFi capabilities into their payments products and create more value for their users. We're excited for Chronicle to bring verified data feeds to Tempo, starting with pathUSD on Morpho markets and opening up new products and use cases for the companies building on Tempo.” – Eric Kang, GTM at Tempo
pathUSD Goes Live on Morpho, Powered by Chronicle Feeds
With Chronicle providing the verified data layer, pathUSD is now live across Morpho markets, with Gauntlet among the first risk curators to list it. Chronicle feeds serve as the oracle infrastructure for their positions, and are ready for additional curators such as Sentora, as more markets come online. Risk curators have become key actors in onchain lending, responsible for setting the parameters that determine how a market behaves and what assets are used. As sophisticated liquidity continues to move onchain, the allocators of this capital will look for assurances from curators. Sentora and Gauntlet are both recognized for their approach to vault construction and market parameterization. As curators on Morpho, they set every market parameter and the oracle feeds are among the most consequential.
What This Means for Risk Curators and Ecosystem Builders on Tempo
For risk curators and ecosystem builders operating on Tempo, the Chronicle integration establishes a reliable, verifiable data foundation they can build on. Whether that means constructing new markets, designing yield strategies, or building products that depend on accurate price data, Chronicle's oracle infrastructure removes a key variable from the risk equation with continuous data verification. “As payment infrastructure scales into broader onchain financial markets, reliable oracle data becomes increasingly critical. We’re excited to support Tempo with data that institutions, risk curators, and onchain platforms can rely on with confidence.”
